1865 commemorates the year when enslaved people of Texas, then the most remote region of the Confederacy, finally learned slavery had been abolished and that they were free.

The 1865 Creative Project is an ongoing initiative birthed from Black-Owned Long Island that uses strategy, creative, content and data to help accelerate local black-owned business. The initiative aims to close the wealth gap and holds a lot of meaning in the fight for black liberation and economic freedom today.

We are currently looking for 3-5 business to participate in our pilot (practically for FREE). Please click the button to learn more and sign-up.
